I've been thinking about gratitude lately. I am grateful for many things in my life, not the least family and friends. And readers. The fact that people have read my book is a thrill. As are reviews. If you aren't familiar with At First Sight, there is a link at the bottom.
The internet has brought me more contacts than I would have ever made in real life, including many writers. While I might write alone, these days, sprint groups have brought the coffee house experience home for me. I write with people from Chicago but also with people from all over the world. Just this morning, my group included writers from Canada, Japan, England, and Germany.
I am also grateful for lots of small things. The chance to go to the theater, to walk near the lake.
Not least, pie. And today, 3.14, is pie day. So enjoy pie today, any pie.
